The Strain Gassy Taffy
Next up for review is the strain Gassy Taffy by Lokey Farms, NB Gardens, and Swing The Sword. Everything is new to me here, from the brands to the strain, so I am excited to have a new experience.
Genetics
I am not sure what the genetics are, but whatever they are, they are very unique. After reviewing different grows on Lokey Farms’ Instagram, I think it might be Gorrila Glue crossed with Mendo Breath. However, I could be completely wrong.
Appearance
The Gassy Taffy colas are a mix of deep dark and light green hues complemented by a healthy amount of orange hairs and trichome crystals.
Aroma
The nose is a balanced mix of sweet and sharp floral notes complemented by delicate soft gassy glue notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
In the inhale, you see sweet vanilla and soft caramel notes with some slight expansion. In contrast, smooth, earthy gas notes make up the flavor profile of the exhale.
The Smoking Experience
The insanely smooth, delicious inhale and slight expansion makes for a fantastic top-shelf exotic smoking experience.
The High
This strain delivers a heavy head high very soon after smoking. I would recommend this strain for the more seasoned smokers or those with a tolerance built up, as this wrecking ball will break through the best of tolerance walls.
So was Gassy Taffy worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. This strain is a refreshing change-up in this Gelato dominated market. I would highly recommend Gassy Taffy by Lokey Farm, NB Gardens, and Swing the Sword. The complex flavor and stoney high will not disappoint.
Where can Gassy Taffy by Lokey Farms be found?
I don’t know too much about these Northern Californian brands, yet I do know these flowers are available in both NorCal and SoCal. Look for them at your local big-box dispensary.
