The Nerdz Strain
Next up is Nerdz by NEWSZN. I have smoked this strain a couple of times before by other cultivators but don’t believe I reviewed it.
Genetics of Nerdz
Nerdz is the cross of a couple of strains that have been around for quite a while, Grape Ape and Strawberry Cough.
Appearance
The colas are a bright green hue with lots of trichome crystals and well-manicured orange hairs. My jar came with a few nice-sized buds in it.
Aroma
The nose is a little more grape ape dominant, but you still get some of the characteristics of the Strawberry Cough. I would describe the Nose as a mix of sweet grape and strawberry notes, complemented by some earthiness.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale is a pleasant mix of sweet fruit berry notes, while in contrast, the exhale introduces a lot of earthy berry notes.
The Smoking Experience
I enjoyed the smoking experience of Nerdz by NEWSZN. It had been a while since I had smoked the strains in the genetic lineage, and it was a nice throwback.
The High of Nerdz
We see more of the Grape Ape come through with a more traditional Purp high. I am finding the high to be very heady without too much body high.
So was Nerdz by NEWSZN worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. This strain is very different than everything else on the shelf today and is a nice change-up.
