Let’s just go there….Pre-rolls are hit or miss.

You can’t see what is inside the joint or blunt. Could be runtz or it could be midz.. Could be fresh tops ground up or 2 year old shake…

You are pretty much rolling the dice, Unless you grab a preroll from a trusted source such as Artisan Handcrafted.

I have been enjoying Artisan Handcrafted products for many years now and this is the first time I am reviewing them on this blog.

What makes Artisan Handcrafted unique and one of their biggest differentiators is that they Hand Roll with Whole Buds on most of their products. This allows for a more richer full flavor experience on a slower burning blunt.

The Artisan Handcrafted 2 Gram Whole Nug Blunt With Wood Tip with 530 Co-op Holy Grail OG Flowers is by far one of the best blunts I have smoked and to put things in perspective I have judged multiple professional blunt rolling competitions.

Where to begin… The Flowers used by Artisan Handcrafted are always top notch. I have seen them use Jungle Boys, 530 Co-op, The Village, and Connected.

530 Co-op impressed with the Holy Grail OG Flowers that were used in this Blunt. The Flowers had a piney and earthy nose.

The Wood Tip on the Blunt made the smoking experience next level. Incredibly smooth. Much nicer than a glass tip.

The Tip also made for a great way to take in the flavor profile of 530’s Holy Grail OG. The inhale was dominated by herbal notes complemented by light notes of citrus.

The exhale took a deep rich peppery turn which I really enjoyed and felt it rounded out the experience.

The hemp wrap used was so smooth no harshness whatsoever. I love that the peppery turn of the exhale created complexity almost tricking your brain into thinking you were smoking a tobacco based wrap.

The Blunt lit easily and burned evenly with no runs.

I purchased this Artisan Handcrafted blunt on a recent trip to DTPG for $40.

So was it worth the money and would I buy it again? Yes and Yes. $40 for a pre-roll can be pricey but keep mind there is 2 grams of whole bud in there rolled in way we can all dream of rolling with the perfect wood tip leading to smoothest blunt experience you have ever had.

So if $40 is too pricey save it for a special occasion and you should probably stop reading now.

Artisan Handcrafted is best known for their CannaCigar. They are the first folks that introduced me to one 5 years ago.

A CannaCigar is created by rolling Cannabis in a traditional cigar rolling fashion using full buds, concentrates and kief while wrapping it in Cannabis Leaf.

Well almost like a traditional cigar with one exception. In order for air to flow to smoothly a stick is ran down the middle during the creation which is then removed when smoked. Also the hemp rope is removed.

Often times people will also use a mold to create CannaCigars. I have one and have been meaning to make a vid….but that is not how Artisan Handcrafted does it as their name implies.

CannaCigars are not for Rookies. One they tend to be on the more expensive side of things usually coming in at $200 and they pack a punch with a mix of flowers, kief and concentrate.

They burn slow…like 2 hours which is impressive as they are about the size of a regular sized blunt. This has to do with the slow burning concentrate and whole buds.

I will often light one up on a Friday Night and it will last me till Monday as I re-light it and put it out over and over.

Also worth noting, CannaCigars need to be smoked with care. The long burning concentrate can get hot as can the smoke as both travel down the channel down the middle so puff on it like a Cigar to avoid the burn.

Below are some pics of some CannaCigars I scored back in the day with Jungle Boys Flowers and Concentrates in them.
