Big Squid
Next up in this Squid Game of Weed Reviews is Big Squid by Teds Budz and HiTech. Two of my favorites, if you can’t tell by all of my recent reviews.
Genetics
I am not quite sure what the genetics of this strain are, but based on the nose, I believe it may be a Sherbert Cross.
Appearance
The big fluffy colas are a light green hue covered in tons of resinous trichome crystals with hints of short orange hair and dark green leaves scattered about.
Aroma
The nose has an earthy, musky tropical nose that is beyond inviting. When you grind it up, you can also pick up sweet cherry notes in the nose.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale consists of expansive musky, creamy notes. In contrast, the exhale takes a different turn, adding some tropical, earthy gas notes complementing the inhale perfectly.
The Smoking Experience
While you see a lot of expansion in the inhale, I still find it incredibly smooth, with the cream notes only adding to the smoothness. It is also worth noting; these flowers burn very clean to a white ash.
The High
I am finding this strain to pack a head-high dominant punch that can get your ass early in the morning. I would only recommend these flowers for experienced smokers. From a medicinal perspective, these flowers would be ideal for pain relief or to combat insomnia.
So was Big Squid worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. This heavy hitter is just the perfect example of why Teds Budz, HiTech, Dubz Garden, and La Coz are my everyday smoke. Top-shelf exotic through and through.
Where can Big Squid by HiTech and Teds Budz be found?
You can find this strain at several dispensaries near you. If you are in SoCal I believe the VanNuys Emberz has it in stock right now.
