Crawlerz by Nero’s Cutt

If you missed it, I recently held my best of 2020, which I called the 2020 Zazas. I did not rank or award a first, second, or third place but instead shared five strains that I enjoyed and led to a great experience.

Frostiez from Nero’s Cutt took home one of those awards. In addition to previous reviewing Frostiez, I also review Blizzardz by Nero’s Cutt. I thought it only made sense to dive deeper into Nero’s Cutt’s strain and have today decided to review Crawlerz by Nero’s Cutt.

Background

The strain’s name and the marketing around the strain pay homage to the Trolli Gummy Worm Candy, Crawlers. Candy-inspired strain flavors and names arent anything new. I recently reviewed Gummiez by Panacea, recently got to try White Gelato Bubblegum, and I believe we are all familiar with Runtz.

Notwithstanding, Crawlerz by Nero’s Cutt does a good job targeting a specific, very familiar brand. The hologram mylar bag and logo do a great job being familiar while being completely unique. Since I have a sweet tooth and have eaten many bags of crawlers, I am excited to see how it stacks up.

Genetics of Crawlerz

The genetics of many mylar bags are often unknown. I believe Crawlerz may be Mochi Gelato crossed with White Runtz, but I could be wrong. The nose and flavor profile only confirms my beliefs.

Appearance

The Crawlerz Flowering Tops by Nero’s Cutt has a classic Gelato look to them. A mix of purple, light green, and orange hues as the purple and green leaves come together complemented by long orange hairs beneath a heavy layer of trichome crystals.

Aroma

The aroma of Crawlerz is a blend of sweet earthy creamy notes complemented by sharp tropical notes that at times can come across almost gassy.

The Inhale and The Exhale

The inhale of Crawlerz begins with creamy floral notes that soon after inhaling evolve into gassy tropical notes that lean more in a pineapple direction. The gassy tropical pineapple notes continue through the exhale with lingering gassy notes.

I see a lot of similarities between the flavor profile and the Crawlers candy. Especially the white pineapple flavored worm. While writing the inhale and exhale portion of this review, I had to leave the room, and coming back in, the gassy tropical notes of the exhale’s scent filled the room.

The Smoking Experience

I enjoyed the smoking experience of Crawlerz by Nero’s Cutt. I truly appreciated the flavor profile and aroma immensely. The flowers burn clean in both a bong bowl and a joint. #whiteashgang

The High

The high of Crawlerz is heavy. When I first scored it, I was with Robbie Exotic and it crushed him. Now keep in mind, he is smoking on Fig Farms all day, so it has to be some epic next-level Zaza to put him down. The high is a combination of body and head high but leans more towards a heavy head high. The high of Crawlerz by Nero’s Cutt would be ideal for pain relief, appetite stimulation, or insomnia.

So was Crawlerz worth the money and would I buy it again?

Yes and Yes. Crawlerz by Nero’s Cutt is a top-shelf strain that delivers a top-shelf experience similar to other strains in the product line. I am impressed with the consistent quality I see from Nero’s Cutt.

Where can Crawlerz be found?

Strains like this tend to be more challenging to find. I would keep an eye out for pop-ups or special events around the strain you are looking for. With that being said, popular strains like this don’t sit around too long. Frostiez and Rated Gas just collaborated and held a big pop-up in Miami.
