The Strain Delta Diamonds
New to me is both the strain Delta Diamonds and cultivator Delta Boyz. Their Unique strain is a water hash-infused cannabis that I am very excited to review.
Genetics
The genetics of this strain is unknown, and there very well could be two strains, one with the hash and the other with flower. The nose leads me to believe the strain could be a citrus lemon-based variant like lemon tree or a lemon tart pucker.
Update: I have since spoken with the Delta Boyz and they confirmed the genetics are a cross of Hylife and Gorilla Breathe Trix #6.
Appearance
The flower looks impressive. The colas are a mix of light green and deep dark purple hues, covered in a layer of water hash, making them look amazing.
Aroma
The nose is a complex mix of sour, earthy citrus lemon notes. The nose of this super potent flower does intimate me. I am not going to lie.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The Inhale of Delta Boyz’ Delta Diamonds begins with a sharp woody citrus flavor profile. In contrast, the exhale is a mind-blowing smooth, soft earthy mouthfeel.
The Smoking Experience
The inhale of this strain is a bit of a thicker smoker, as you would imagine with water hash-infused flower. However, the inhale is so smooth that I cannot emphasize it enough. It almost tastes like nothing but smoothness. Both of these things combined make for an interesting smoking experience that I enjoy considerably.
The High
The high is heavy and immediate. A deep heavy head high with a similar body high to match. I have been enjoying a lot of dabs lately; sorry, I am not documenting it. With that being said, it was nice to get to the same headspace with a joint not needing a dab rig.
So was Delta Diamonds worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and yes. Delta Diamonds is the best moonrock-oriented smoking experience I had to date. Easy to roll in a joint, with a clean burn and a high that packs a punch.
Where can Delta Diamonds by the Delta Boyz and iCANNiC be found?
I do not know too much about either the Delta Boyz or iCANNiC. Notwithstanding, I believe you can find these flowers at high-end boutique dispensaries all over Northern and Southern California.
