Next up for review is Dubai Sunset by the Mari-Ju-Wana. Mari-Ju-Wana first made waves more than six months ago with their strain Zkilluminati, a cross of Blue Sherbert and Zkittles.
Genetics
Sunset Sherbert BX and Gelato 42 make up the exotic genetics of this proprietary strain by Mari-Ju-Wana.
Appearance
The colas are a mix of light, bright green hues with splashes of deep dark purples with lighter yellow and orange hairs. The flowers that came in my bag are large and fluffy.
Aroma
The nose is a pleasant mix of both parents in the genetic lineage. I would describe the aroma as sweet, floral, tropical notes complemented by sharp herbal notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale consists of sharp, rich pepper herbal notes with delicate gas and berry notes. In contrast, the exhale is smooth, earthy notes complimented by light tropical notes.
The Smoking Experience
The smoke is on the thicker side, and combined with the sharp, rich flavor profile; the smoking experience can be rather intense. Until you make it to the smooth earthy exhale.
The High
The high of these flowers is heavy with slightly more head high than body, but don’t get it twisted; these flowers will lay you out. From a medicinal perspective, these flowers are ideal for insomnia and stimulating appetite.
So was Dubai Sunset worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. These flowers pack a heavy high perfect after a long day’s work. Also, with genetics like those, I am sure this strain will be a fan favorite.
