Guava Oreoz Background
I recently gave the strain Oreoz by Dubz Garden and The Gooniez a Zaza, the most prestigious award in the Cannabis Industry, not soon after I reviewed Guava Plus by Dubz Garden and La Coz, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was very excited to see the cross of Guava and Oreoz with Guava Oreoz by Dubz Gardens and The Gooniez, and it only made sense to review it next.

Genetics of Guava Oreoz
Virtuose from Wizard of Obs did the pollination of Guava Oreoz using his Guava strain and Dubz Gardens and The Gooniez’ Oreoz strain. I believe Virtuose’s Guava is a Guava Gelato based strain.
While the genetics of Oreoz is Cookies n Cream crossed with Secret Weapon. In contrast, the genetics of Cookies and Cream is the classic strain Starfighter crossed with an unknown phenotype of GSC. With the genetics of the Sativa Dominant Secret Weapon being Cheese Quake and the classic strain White Widow.
Appearance
Both parents’ physical appearance comes through nicely on this strain. Some darker purple hues from the Guava and an abundance of perfectly round trichome crystals visible to the naked eye are very similar to the Oreoz. My flowers were a mix of large and small buds. I found the flowers to be very fresh.
Aroma
Similar to the nose of the Oreoz, the aroma of the this strain appears somewhat flat at first. However, as you dig deeper, you find a complex mix of the Oreoz’ spicey, peppery, earthy nose combined with the creamy tropical aroma of Guava Gelato.
The Inhale and The Exhale
The inhale and exhale is everything I was hoping for and more, as it did lean more in the direction of a dominant Oreoz. The inhale begins with some light vanilla and burnt almonds notes, which quickly evolve into an in-depth chocolate oreo cookie flavor profile that continues through the exhale. The tropical notes are extremely minimal, and the creamy notes married incredibly well with the Oreoz characteristics.
The Smoking Experience
Like all the Dubz Garden and Gooniez flowers, these colas burn to a clean white ash. The rich flavor profile comes across as a very smooth form of smoke, which only adds to the enjoyable smoking experience.
The High
Both this strain and Oreoz by Dubz Garden and The Gooniez has the high I am always chasing. A very clean, functional, balanced body and head high that doesn’t burn you out. The kind of experience that makes you say, this should be my new goto.
So was Guava Oreoz worth the money and would I buy it again?
Yes and Yes. One of the biggest things I look for in flowers is consistent quality, and both Dubz Gardens and The Gooniez deliver. I found this strain to be well worth the money and a strain I will buy over and over again. Sometimes when the reviews are bogging me down, and I want to go to my happy place, I will sneak out and grab some Oreoz. Now I might switch that up to Guava Oreoz.
Where can Guava Oreoz be found?
This strain by Dubz Garden and The Gooniez can be found in both Northern and Southern California pretty easily. In SoCal, I would look to Muzeum Collective, Green Wolf, Cana Harbor, or Daze Dash Delivery. In the Bay, I would goto Barbary Coast, Dr. Green Thumbs, or Irie Care Delivery.
