Haupina by Haupia, Mount Burnin, and 415 Shopping Carts
Next up is Haupina by Haupia, Mount Burn, and 415 Shopping Carts. I have wanted to review these brands for a while but haven’t gotten around it until now. This is my first time trying and reviewing Haupia, Mount Burnin, and 415 Shopping Carts.
Genetics
The genetics of Haupina are Gelato 41 and Sunset Sherbert, more specifically the cut of Sunset Sherbert used in Lemon Cherry Gelato.
Appearance
You can quickly tell the flowers are fire just from the appearance. Trichomes crystals cover the Haupina colas giving off a white appearance at first glance. However, as you dig in deeper, you see the deep purple and bright green leaves underneath.
Aroma
The aroma is one of my favorites—a forward musty, musky, lemon, and sweet cherry aroma that does not disappoint. Additionally, I am also finding some delicate earthy, herbal, and floral notes in the nose.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale of Haupina consists of musky lemon and sweet cherry notes that slowly dissipate on the exhale, being replaced by some delicate creamy, earthy notes.
The Smoking Experience
I am a massive fan of the smoking experience of this strain. First, I am a sucker for a lemon cherry gelato or cross. Second, these flowers burn so clean and pack a punch.
The High
Haupina by Haupia has the clear-headed clean high of the rest of the lemon cherry gelatos with a bit of extra oomph that creeps up on you. While writing this review, smoking out the bong and burning a joint, I find myself a lot more stoned than usual.
So was Haupina by Haupia worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. This strain is straight fire. From the look, to the smell, to the taste, to the stone, Haupia is the real deal exotic. This strain is beyond worth a top-shelf price, and I am going to buy it all day.
Where can Haupina by Haupia be found?
I don’t know too much about the Haupai Strains or 415 Shopping Carts, other than I have seen them in the industry for quite some time. Also, I believe they are bay area based. I know nothing about Mount Burnin but looking to learn more. I think their strains were more street-oriented in the past but have been making big waves in the dispensaries as of late.
