LA Pop Rocks
Next up for review is LA Pop Rocks by Clarkies. Clarkies is a small mom-and-pop boutique cultivator out of Northern California. It is relatively easy to get your hands on these flowers as @NorCal_Temptations925 distributes them.
Genetics
The strain is the cross of Z Animal with the strain TKB2. While those two parents might not look familiar to everyone, the end result is a very familiar tropical exotic.
Appearance
The flowers are a deep purple hue with splashes of bright orange, white, and dark green highlights from the long orange hairs, perfectly formed trichome crystal, and dark green leaves.
Aroma
The nose is a very familiar mix of sweet candy gas notes. If you were to smell the flowers, you might believe it is a Runtz or Zkittles cut because of the very familiar nose.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale consists of creamy tart berry notes. While in contrast, smooth, earthy notes make up the exhale.
The Smoking Experience
The smoking experience only confirms my belief that these are top-shelf exotic flowers—a smooth flavor-filled smoke sesh with a clean white ash burn.
The High
I am really enjoying the high of this strain. A clean, functional mix of head and body. This strain would be ideal for pain relief, appetite stimulation, or addressing nausea.
So was LA Pop Rocks worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. Clarkies did not disappoint with this strain. These flowers are a great example of why we need to keep Cannabis more boutique than big-box growers. The care and attention that went into cultivating these flowers are apparent and something a grower going after quantity can’t achieve.
Where can you find LA Pop Rocks?
I am not sure if you can find LA Pop Rocks by Clarkies in the dispensaries. I have only gotten them from @norcal_temptations925 in the past, one of their premier distributors.
