LA Silky
LA Silky is an exclusive strain drop for Los Angeles by the Mount Burnin. I am finding, for the most part, his drops in the past have been movie-themed, but I am excited for his unique branding to expand. Not to mention I can relate because you can usually find me rocking the same hat as Silks.
Genetics
I am not aware of the specific genetics of this strain, but I believe it to be a very refined, unique Gelato 41 LCG cutt.
Appearance
The large fluffy flowering tops are a glistening crystalized light green with dark purple highlights as seen in deep rich red wine. A few short orange hairs are scattered about, adding more color to the complex colas.
Aroma
The flower’s nose is a mix of pleasant musky earth notes complemented by delicate sweet lemon citrus and spice notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale is a familiar nostalgic sweet, musky, creamy notes, while in contrast, the exhale evolves, introducing complex spice notes that linger alongside some musky notes.
The Smoking Experience
The refined and smooth complex smoke leads to a fantastic smoking experience, which I am consistently finding with Mount Burnin. Like all his other strains, LA Silky is so silky smooth.
The High
The stone is a clean, functional head high, perfect for starting the day with a walk on the beach, quiet meditation, and listening to good music.
So was LA Silky worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and Yes. LA and Mr. Silks Represent. Having the strain represent my city only makes me feel more connected to these exotic flowers.
Where can you find LA Silky?
I would check the usual spots in Los Angeles if you are trying to find some Mount Burnin strains. Recently I have been getting consistently lucky finding it at Emberz. I believe they are also releasing a 420 Collab together.
