Lemon Cherry Drip by Fresh Drip Exotics
I am excited to review the next drop of Fresh Drip Exotics, Lemon Cherry Drip, as I recently learned a lot more about the cultivation behind it. About three years ago, The Fire Scale and I were hanging out at a cultivation in Downtown LA. There we were introduced to a Breeder, Geneticist and Cultivator. He saw the passion Fire and I had for the flowers and wanted to share some of his newest creations with us, one of which I can remember extremely vividly to this day.
It was the most fruit forward citrus orange flowers I have ever tried. Both the Fire Scale and myself were enamored with it. The Fire Scale immediately came up an Orange Julius comparison and recommended marketing in line with the drink and mall shop. The Fire Scale and I haven’t seen this Cannabis Innovator in the years since, but I am really stoked to get try his flowers again and share the experience with all you.
Genetics
As the name implies Lemon Cherry Drip is a cut of Lemon Cherry Gelato. Notwithstanding, one of my favorite cuts of LCG going in a heavy cherry musk direction. It is worth noting each cultivator has their own nutrient recipe, light cycle, and cure process which can lead to very different variants of the same cut.
Appearance
These flowers capture all of the most sought after hues. You will find a mix deep purple, dark green, and light green hues. The colas are completely covered in milky trichome crystals and just the right amount orange hairs.
Aroma
The aroma is one of my favorites you find in the LCG cut. I would describe the nose as a heavy musky rich cherries complemented by delicate candy notes. The best part about this is they are an all natural scent and flavor. A good cultivator can obtain unique candy and tropical notes with out spray or “infusion”. Furthermore you don’t know what your are smoking with manipulated weed, which is I smoke brands like Fresh Drip Exotics where the cultivator grow untouched perfect flowers.
The Inhale and the Exhale
The inhale is a juicy flavor filled mouthful of sweet, musky, cherry notes complemented by delicate earthy notes. About halfway into the inhale we see a creamy evolution leading to an exhale that I would describe as earthy creamy notes complemented by delicate lemon citrus notes and a lingering musk.
The Smoking Experience
I am enjoying the Fresh Drip Exotics drops I have tried so far and the smoking experience really stands out. You can really tell the difference enjoying the smoke natural terps rather than sprayed weed. I am finding the Fresh Drip flowers to have a perfect density and this cultivator is curing perfectly leaving nice moist buds that last the test of time.
The High
The high was the perfect balance of a nice stone but still allowing you to maintain and be productive. Also, from a medicinal perspective it would be great for pain relief or to reduce stress or anxiety. Lastly, from a fun perspective its great for date night or video games at pad.
So was Lemon Cherry Drip worth the money and would I buy it again?
Yes and yes. This is top shelf California flowers are available in New York while being grown and cured with care. Moreover, this leads to clean burning, naturally terp filled flowers.
