Lemon Gelato Pop Strain
Next up for review is the strain Lemon Gelato Pop by Dubs Garden and La Coz. I have been a bit of a Dubz Garden kick lately. After getting to try a pre-release of some of the BernieHannaButter strain, which was game-changing, I am stuck.
Genetics
The genetics of this Dubz Garden proprietary strain are unknown. Notwithstanding, based on the nose and appearance, I believe this is a cut or cross of the Runtz strain a few phenos from the LCG cut.
Appearance
The flowers are a deep purple hue with bright orange splashes of color from the long orange hairs. Furthermore, there is a nice layer of trichome crystals, and some nice lighter green highlights found here and there.
The Aroma of Lemon Gelato Pop
The very inviting nose mixes sweet, musky, earthy notes complimented by delicate citrus lemon and candy notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
On the inhale of this strain, you will find musky, earthy candy, and berry notes. In contrast, you will find lingering musky, earthy notes on the exhale.
The Smoking Experience
The smoking experience is slightly intense. The smoke is on the thicker with an immediate high. Even with the thicker smoke, I am not finding it harsh but instead really smooth.
The High
The flowers are potent, and the high is immediate—a very balanced heavy head high and heavy body high, yet very uplifting and refreshing. The stone would be perfect for a morning walk or after a long gym session.
So was Lemon Gelato Pop worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. Like all Dubz Garden flowers, these are undoubtedly top-shelf, giving most, if not all, Zaza a run for their money.
Where can you find Lemon Gelato Pop by Dubz Garden and La Coz?
Berner has been smoking a lot of Dubz Garden, giving them even more publicity, so I anticipate they will continue to blow up even more significantly.
