The Lemon Popperz Strain
Next up for review is the Lemon Popperz strain by SUPERDOPE. This is the second release of their Super Hentai series, with Cherry Popperz being the first.
Genetics
Citrus lemon notes dominate this strain, yet these flowers have some serious exotic coloring, as seen in the video and pictures. I believe this is an insane cut of Gelonade, which is the cross of Lemon Tree and Gelato 41.
Appearance
The cola’s leaves are a mix of deep dark greens and purple, while in contrast, there are long orange hairs and short, tiny white hairs. The marriage of the two gives the flowers the most insane exotic appearance for a Sativa Dominant Hybrid.
Aroma
The second you open the bag, the nose bursts a loud lemony mix of citrus with some more subdued but very present creamy berry notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The mouth-watering inhale begins with complex, creamy herbal notes that quickly evolve into bursting citrus lemon notes. Inline, the exhale continues with citrus lemon notes adding lingering sweetness.
The Smoking Experience
The smoking experience is impeccable. I am finding this strain to be a flavor-filled flower that burns clean with an incredibly smooth smoke.
The High
The high is a balanced mix of energizing upliftingness and heady sedation—the best of both worlds from the parent strains. This strain would be ideal for starting your day with a hike or being creative. Also worth noting is that it pairs perfectly with Lemonchello liquor.
So was Lemon Popperz worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and yes. These flowers are some of my favorite of 2022, but I am a sucker for Lemon Tree, and this cross is even better than the original indoor lemon tree you can find on my blog if you go back far enough.
