Luxuriotti by exoticgentix, an Exotic California Cannabis Strain Review

Ice Breaker

Last December, on a trip to San Francisco, I tried grease monkey by exoticgentix. It was my first time trying a strain by exoticgentix, and I was impressed. I felt that they were flowers cultivated the right way by someone who knew what they are doing.

So on my many adventures looking for exotic flowers, I picked up Luxuriotti by exoticgentix at LA Kush on Valley Blvd. LA Kush is definitely one of my goto dispensaries. They have both a great selection and excellent prices. I also like that they are always adding new connoisseur grade strains to their menu.

Background

Exoticgentix has a great origin story. They have humble beginnings in the Pacific Northwest. The founder was donating time in exchange for gardening equipment at a local hydroponic store right at the beginning of the legalization of the medical marijuana movement for that region.

While working at the hydroponic store, the founder of extoxicgentix noticed a consistent problem that all of the store’s customers were having around bugs and powdery mildew. He quickly associated the issues with the source, nasty clones being sold and shared within the community.

The founder of exoticgentix then had the idea that both solved the customer’s problem and created the foundation of what is exoticgentix. He set up a seed factory and started giving seeds away for free.

After developing the skillset, exoticgentix let their passion do the rest. Exoticgentix has since crossed countless strains with a desire to create some of the most exotic unique flowers out there. Many Cannabis Cup Wins later, they have demonstrated they deliver the best of the best.

Genetics

Exoticgenetix got me with this cross. Luxoriotti is the cross of Biscotti with Strawberries and Cream. While I am not always a fan of names that don’t use traditional naming conventions, I think this name fits.

Diving a little deeper, Strawberries and Cream is the Sativa dominant cross of Strawberry Cough and the White. In contrast, Biscotti is the Indica dominant cross of Gelato #25, Girl Scout Cookies, and South Florida OG. I must say I am enjoying watching all of these genetic lineages evolve into such enjoyable strains.

Appearance

I feel that both the appearance of flowering tops and the smoking experience are very luxurious, earning the name.

The colas are dark green hue, but you can’t tell as the colas are engrossed in tiny white and long orange hairs. There is also a healthy helping of resinous trichome crystals that help mask the dark green hue underneath white and orange layers.

Aroma

I truly enjoyed the aroma. I found the scent to be a complex, rich, musty, decadent mix of earthy herbal and sweet, creamy, delicate strawberry notes. When breaking open a bud to dig deeper, I found pleasant fruity cookies notes.

The Inhale

I found the inhale to be a perfect mix of a sweet cookie flavor profile fused with some delicate creamy strawberry notes. I discovered this made for a rich and luxurious inhale as well as flavor profile.

The Exhale

The exhale lost a lot of the sweet cookie, and strawberry notes that I noted on the inhale. I observed that exhale instead was dominated by creaminess with earthy notes that tended to linger.

The Smoking Experience

The two-parent strains, Strawberries, and Cream and Biscotti, undoubtedly complement each other very well. This perfect marriage of the two strains leads to a smooth, creamy, rich, decadent, and luxurious smoking experience.

The High

Luxuriotti by exoticgentix is the perfect example of a strain that tests on THC’s lower side but packs a serious punch. Coming in at only 21% THC, one might think this is an entry-level strain. However, this strain will leave you couch-locked and taking a nap in no time.

This strain packs such a punch I had a hard time writing this review and had to take multiple breaks. I recommend only smoking this strain after the sun sets on that Jackie Brown shit. I think this strain would be great for pain relief, insomnia, or coping with 2020.

So was it worth the money, and would I buy it again?

Yes and Yes. I was very impressed with both the genetics and the quality of the flowers. Exoticgentix did a create job cross and cultivating this strain. I believe it shows in both the aroma and flavor profile.

Where can it be found?

You can find exoticgenetix flowers and concentrates all over California, and I believe parts of the Pacific Northwest. I got mine at LA Kush on Valley Blvd.
