I have always enjoyed the flavors in cannabis. With that being said through this experience of flavor chasing and writing reviews, I have become much more aware of the intricate flavors present in a profile which has me enjoying every strain even more.

I find it does it require being mindful and present. It is too easy to light up a joint and take a bunch of drags with out thinking about or appreciating all the intricate unique notes hitting your palate.

So the next time you light up, I recommend put your tastebuds and nose to work. Find, appreciate and enjoy all the amazing terps and flavors in the cannabis so many growers work so hard to create and take so much pride in.

It is only fitting I am discussing the deep depths of flavor profiles while reviewing a Dubz Garden and Gooniez Strain. Dubz Garden is known for their epic Peanut Butter Breathe strain while The Gooniez have release countless hits. Peanut Butter and Jelly (now known as Butter and Jelly), Key Glock’s Yellow Tape Gelato, Guava Cake, Sherblato and now Oreoz.

In addition to Oreoz, Dubz Garden and the Gooniez also recently dropped Gelato Plus and Ape Face.

Oreoz is a strain I have not had before but was very excited to try. The genetics of Oreoz is Cookies n Cream crossed with Secret Weapon. While the genetics of Cookies and Cream is the classic strain Starfighter crossed with an unknown phenotype of GSC. With the genetics of the Sativa Dominant Secret Weapon being Cheese Quake and the classic strain White Widow.

Digging into the history of the genetics the appearance begins to make sense. This is one of the more impressive looking strains I have seen in 2020. It’s got it all. A great balance of light green and dark purple hues, completely immersed in perfectly formed trichrome crystals and long orange hairs.

The aroma appears flat at first but as you dig in you find there is a lot there. The nose has an immaculate balance of spicy, peppery and earthy notes with very subtle notes of citrus lemon deep within.

The inhale and exhale are very different than the nose and very complex. The inhale is a wave of sweet vanilla and burnt almond notes that lingers for just a second before making a hard right turn in the exhale.

Right after the linger sweetness, I believe it is a combination of pepper, earthy, herbal and sweet notes that create an Oreo like chocolate cookie with vanilla cream flavor that lingers for days.

I found each hit out of the bong of the Oreoz to be incredibly smooth with some slight expansion.

The Indica Dominant Oreoz has a very clean functional happy and relaxed high. Perfect for hanging out with friends or cleaning the house.

So was it worth the money and would I buy it again? Yes I got it for $50 at Cookies San Diego and found it to be much better than most if not all of the $60 Cookies Strains.
