Next up is the strain Peanut Butter Gelato by Lokey Farms. I am excited to dig deeper into Lokey Farm’s flowers to learn and document more about them.
Genetics
I believe the genetics of this strain to be a cross of PBB and a cut of Gelato. This batch is definitely more Peanut Butter Breath dominant in almost every way.
Appearance
The trichome frosted colas appear a whitish light green from a distance, but as you get closer, you see the mix of purple and green hues with splashes of orange from the well-manicured orange hairs.
Aroma
I am finding the nose of this flower to be a complex mix of nut, dough, and floral notes complemented by delicate musk notes. I found the aroma to be very rich and inviting.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale comprises earthy peanut butter notes with a tiny bit of a gelato zing, while in contrast, the exhale consists of floral, earthy herbal notes.
The Smoking Experience
Lokey Farms did an excellent job smoothing out the strain with the gelato cross, as cuts of PBB can be a little harsh with some cuts. I found the smoke to be smooth on both the inhale and exhale.
The High
The high is a very clean body high complemented by a lighter head high. This strain would be ideal for recovering from an injury, doing yoga, or walking the dog.
So was Peanut Butter Gelato worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. I am very impressed with Lokey Farms. They are growing some quality exotic cannabis, deserving to be on the top shelf of your local dispensary.
