Uni by Teds Budz and HiTech
New to the market is the strain Uni by HiTech and Teds Budz. I am a fan of both of these brands and have done reviews of both in the past. However, I believe this is the first time I have seen the two companies do a collaboration.
Genetics
The cross of Tuna Belly and Gelato 41 make up the genetics of the weed strain Uni by Teds Budz and HiTech. Also, a quick reminder Tuna Belly is the cross of Zkittlez and White Runtz.
Appearance
The Uni flowers have more light and dark greens hue to them, but purple dashes make an appearance. There is a very healthy layer of trichome crystals and a few healthy long orange hairs.
Aroma
The aroma is the most amazing nose of 2021. It begins with dominant sweet-tart cherry notes, but you find delicate soft tropical and gas notes as you dig deeper.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale begins with sweet cherry tart and soft, delicate tropical notes, while in contrast, the exhale takes a surprising sharp woody turn. This creates a very complex flavor profile that has you going back for more.
The Smoking Experience
I find that Uni has tons of expansion to it and a bit of a thicker smoke. Yet, I still the smoking experience to be very smooth while the nose and flavor profile only add to it.
The High
This strain has a very heavy high that is both a heavy body and a heavy head high. The kind of high you can feel in the middle of your shoulders after you finish smoking like you just got a massage. These flowers are ideal for pain relief and insomnia.
So was Uni by HiTech and Teds Budz worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. Uni by HiTech and Teds Budz is a top contender for one of the best weed strains of 2021 for me. The intense nose and expansive dynamic flavor profile lead to a fantastic smoking experience and high. I will be smoking this all day….. until Shrimp Girl drops…..
