On a recent trip to San Francisco I was lucky enough to meet San Francisco based Rapper Dolla$ Up Nero. He is tied to sooo many legendary strains out right now like Frostiez, Obama Runtz and Blizzrdz. He is also part of the Runtz Crew and was recently featured on the YungLB’s song Obama Runtz.
I believe Blizzrdz to the be the rare unique strain Blizzard Bush. A very rare unique strain you would be lucky to find. Blizzard Bush is the cross of Pura Vida and Stardawg.
The bud is a purple hue for the most part with random green patches of leaves. There are sporadic bunches of very long orange hairs all over the bud and the entirety of the bud is engulfed in trichome crystals.
The aroma is described a few different ways online with a common theme of a sweet candy cured meat. I believe that to be the complex combination of sweet floral earthy dirt notes that create an almost rich sandalwood like scent.
Now don’t freak out, I know smoking cured meat smelling weed might not sound appealing. But one of my favorite strains right now is meatloaf breathe, the most unappealing strain name ever. What is so great about these meaty notes though is the very complex impact they have on the flavor profile similar to a gelato which you see on the inhale.
The inhale of Billrdz is an amazing mix of complex sweet rich creamy chocolatey notes that smokes ever so smooth. Meanwhile the exhale takes a floral turn complemented by rich musky creamy earthy notes.
Blizzrdz is by far one of the smoothest smoking strains out right now along with a few strains by Cannatique and Backpack Boyz. Often a smooth smoking strain will have limited expansion however Blizzrds packs a nice expansion punch.
The high is super clean and super heavy. This strain was grown so well they took what supposed to be a functional high and instead got you #litoffurass. And while these giant buds have you thinking Plant Growth Regulators (PGR), think again. These light fluffy buds burn to a very clean white ash. #whiteashgang
So was it worth the money and would I buy it again? Hands down yes. One of my new favorite strains. Such a complex flavor profile with such a kick ass high.
Where can it be found? I am not sure what dispensaries are selling this strain but I would look for ones selling other Neros Cut strains like Cookies locations or Stiiizy locations.
Definitely a strain you don’t want to pass up!
