Cocoa Leche
Next up for review is Cocoa Leche by Mamey’s Bodega. I recently reviewed Mamey’s Milk and Cry Baby Punch, both of which I really enjoyed, so I am excited to dig in another strain by Mamey’s Bodega.
Genetics
The genetics of this strain are proprietary and are not public knowledge. Nonetheless, I believe this strain is a very unique LCG cutt or cross. Also, it is worth saying, in a market full of LCGs, Mamey’s has some of the best.
Appearance
The colas are a perfect specimen, snow-kissed covered in a healthly layer of trichome crystals. Underneath, you can find a myriad of colors from deep dark purples, dark green hues, and some brighter green hues too.
Aroma
The nose is a complex mix of musky earthy notes, muted citrus notes, and unique woody notes. When all three scents marry together, they create the complex nose that inspired the name.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale and exhale are unlike any LCG cutt or cross I have tried before. The inhale begins similar to the nose, where we see smooth woody and earth flavors come together to create a complex delicate chocolate profile. The exhale continues the amazingness with a palate of creamy chocolate notes.
The Smoking Experience
Cocoa Leche by Mamey’s Bodega is one of the best smoking experiences of the year. The exceptionally unique flavor profile and the incredibly smooth smoke lead to a smoking experience that will disappoint no one.
The High
These are flowers I can smoke all day and all night. A pristine, clean, balanced head and body high that would be perfect for going on a hike, bike ride, or flying a kite.
So was Cocoa Leche worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and Yes. This hard-to-find exclusive strain is far beyond worth the money and should be tried by every connoisseur at least once. I will be repurchasing every drop to see how the different batches fair.

I imagine with the demand and popularity of this strain, it will be only a matter of time before it, and other Mamey’s Bodega strains become more widely available at dispensaries all over California.
