Triple Chocolate Chip by Dubz Garden and La Coz
The strain I will be reviewing today is Triple Chocolate Chip by Dubz Garden and La Coz.
Genetics
Triple Chocolate Chip is a cross of the strains Mint Chocolate Chip and Triple OG. Neither parent I would consider to be too exotic. However, the right cross done by the right cultivator can be game-changing.
Appearance
The TCC colas are perfect speciamens. My bag had two big buds in it. The buds are covered in tiny white hairs and trichome crystals giving off a white appearance, but examing closer, you will see deep dark purples, light green hues, and long stringy orange hairs.
Aroma
I am finding that this strain has a slightly muted, subtle nose that grabbed my attention with its uniqueness. The aroma of TCC is a complex mix of sweet minty and earthy gas notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
Sweet mint notes make up the inhale, while delicate, rich chocolate notes complement them. While in contrast, the exhale consists of earthy, chocolate notes.
The Smoking Experience
Many strains have a natural harshness to them. Triple OG and Chocolate strains, from my experience, tend to. Notwithstanding, Triple Chocolate Chip is beyond smooth with slight expansion and no harshness. Perfecto.
The High
While the Mint Chocolate Chip shows more dominance in the flavor, the high shows a little more of the Triple OG, making for a really heavy sedated high. I am so ripped; I am struggling with this review. This flower’s high is suitable for fighting insomnia or forgetting the world outside.
So was Triple Chocolate Chunk worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. I am usually not a fan of the Chocolate strains as they tend not to stand out or even usually make it to the top shelf. Nevertheless, TCC sets the bar for quality-grown cannabis. I am finding these flowers to be a fantastic flavor journey and impeccable smoking experience with a super heavy high.
