Coconut Runtz Strain
Next up for review is the Coconut Runtz strain by Shopping Carts 415. I must say I have been very impressed with what has come out of the Shopping Carts 415 Crew, including Deep in the Bag and Mount Burning with his silky smooth flowers.
Genetics
I am not sure about the genetics of this strain. With out a doubt, I am confident there is some Runtz in there, but I am not sure if the tropical notes are being introduced from the cut or the cross.
Appearance
The flower’s appearance is a balanced mix of light and dark green hues, deep purples, and splashes of orange with a lovely white layer of resinous trichome crystals.
Aroma
The nose is a familiar musky funk, nonetheless I am still being challenged in describing it. I would describe the nose as an inviting, pleasant mix of musky, sweet tropical earthy notes complimented by delicate citrus lemon notes and soft cherry notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale begins with musky tropical notes, a mix of soft coconut and delicate pineapple. In contrast, the exhale takes a creamy, earthy turn with lingering tropical and citrus muskiness.
The Smoking Experience
The smoking experience of this strain is fantastic. I enjoy smoking these flowers in both the bong and the joint. Not only do the flowers burn clean, but I feel the nose translates well to the flavor profile, only adding to the smoking experience.
The High
Coconut Runtz by Shopping Carts 415 is an immaculately clean functional head high. I would recommend this strain for those suffering from anxiety or battling PTSD.
So is Coconut Runtz worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. Like I said at the beginning of the review, I have had a consistently good experience with Shopping Cart’s flowers. Coconut Runtz is no different, an excellent batch of Runtz that gently leans into the LCG Pheno.
