The Gelonade *2 Strain
Next up is Gelonade *2 by NEWSZN. This cultivator is new to me, and I believe they are from SoCal, but I am unsure.
Genetics
I am not quite sure what the two behind Gelonade represents. It could be a second batch or a different cut. Either way, this strain feels very familiar to me—a cross of Gelato and Lemon Tree. #home This batch is very Lemon Tree dominant.
Appearance
Furthermore, the flowers also take on other characteristics of the more dominant Lemon Tree, as seen in the appearance. The flowers are a light green hue with splashes of dark green here and there. There are a lot of orange hairs that were trimmed in manicuring.
Aroma
The aroma is the euphoric mix of sour lemons and very delicate soft cream notes. I can smell this strain all day. It is worth noting I am the biggest Lemon Tree fan and am most likely being biased in this review.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The most delicious gassy lemon notes make up the flavor profile of the inhale. While in contrast, sour earthiness completely dominates the flavor profile of the exhale.
The Smoking Experience
The sour gas flavor, smooth smoke, and clean burn lead to an excellent smoking experience. I would consider these flowers just as good as, if not better, than the Connected Team who brought this strain to fame and recently won an award for the strain.
The High of Gelonade
The high is very clean and very functional. Lemon Tree is one of my favorite strains to smoke in the morning. Furthermore, adding a bit of creamy Gelato tasting notes to it only makes it better.
So was Gelonade *2 worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. I am very pleased with my jar of Gelonade*2 by NEWSZN. These exotic flowers are deserving of your lungs and will be a great way to start the day.
