Gruntz and Sprinklez Diamonds and Koko Nuggz
Recently I was lucky enough to hang with the Real Weed Heads, and while I was there made sure I got a bunch of stuff to review for you. Also, I do not usually review edibles, so I thought I would do this review a little differently as a combo review.
Background
The Real Weed Heads have been grinding hard since way back in the 215 days. With years of experience and an extensive, vast network, it only makes sense for them to align with Jokes Up. The Real Weed Heads have been coming with some innovative products. I recently reviewed White Runtz Pen and White Runtz 500 mg gummies from them. Today I will be reviewing the delicious, lip-smacking Gruntz Diamonds and Sprinklz Diamonds.
What is everything?
Gruntz Diamonds – The strain Gruntz cross is often up for debate. Some will say it is Skittlez crossed with Gelato, while others will argue Gushers x Runtz. Nevertheless, Diamonds are a form of concentrate which comes in the form of crystalline structures sometimes in a sauce marinade.
Sprinklz Diamonds – The strain Sprinklez is the cross Gelato with White Caviar. White Caviar F3 is the orgy of Zkittlez x Magnum Opus x AJ Sour Diesel x Chemdawg Special Reserve. And again, Diamonds are a form of concentrate where it comes in crystalline structures, most commonly dabbed out of a rig.
KoKo Nuggs – KoKo Nuggs are a very trippy heavyweight edible coming in at 500 mg. They are chocolate-covered cereal treats that are made to look like marijuana cola buds.
Gruntz Diamonds Deep Dive
The Gruntz and Sprinklz Diamonds are the first official Jokes Up concentrates that I have seen before. I was very excited to get to try them and share my experience with you.
The Gruntz strain has always reminded me of the first Runtz I tried. The Pink Runtz, which I believe was a Pink Dolphin collab or Pink Dolphin inspired. Regardless it has always had a real traditional Runtz aroma, appearance, and flavor profile. The Gruntz Diamonds continued the theme, delivering a great Jokes Up Gruntz experience in concentrate form, and Diamonds on top of that.
I dabbed the Gruntz Diamonds at both medium and medium-low temp chasing terps. I found the flavor profile to be a mix of earthy, piney, fruity notes complemented by delicate sweet notes. Meanwhile, the high was transcendent as I found myself floating around the room. If you can find Gruntz Diamonds, you should try them. They are fantastic to Dab or would go great to add some extra flavor or kick to your blunt.
Sprinklz Diamonds Deep Dive
As I said up above, the Sprinklz Diamonds are the first official Jokes Up concentrates that I have seen before. While I was lucky enough to have tried the Gruntz strain before. I have never had the chance to try the Sprinklz strain in flower form.
I was very taken back by both the aroma and flavor profile of the Sprinklz Diamonds. The aroma leads with a very forward sweet nose followed by doughy cake notes. I found that flavor profile translated the sweet doughy goodness of the nose perfectly. Being the giant cake head that I am, I immediately fell in love.
I again did enjoy the Sprinklz Diamonds in dab form, but it would be just as enjoyable in a blunt and can really compliment the flavor profile of the flowers you are rolling.
KoKo Nuggs 500 mg Edibles Deep Dive
The first time I tried KoKo Nuggs was at B-Real’s pop-up sesh, where he would record his show in front of a live audience. Best Seshs Ever. KoKo Nuggs were one item they would include in all the gift bags for all the attendees, as well as a couple of eights of flowers, a couple of grams of concentrates, dab tools, funky feel-good tips, and a ton of other cool cannabis products.
The KoKo Nuggs in the gift bag did not have THC in them, but they were an incredibly delicious novelty that caught my attention in a giant bag full of fun. What makes them so unique is that you will mistake the edible treat for a marijuana bud at first glance.
KoKo Nuggs took the best cereal flavors and covered them with cannabis-infused chocolate doing an artistic job of making every cannabis chocolate cereal treat a piece of art. They have many different flavors with big names associated with them, such as Berner and Scott Storch.
I enjoyed all the flavors a lot, but I must admit I was a little hesitant to eat the edible glitter-infused Runtz flavor. However, it ended up being the best flavor. I am blown away by how KoKo Nuggs recreated the actual taste of the Runtz flowers in the cannabis-infused chocolate-covered cereal.
Final Thoughts
In summary, I really enjoyed everything. The Gruntz and Sprinklz Diamonds got me back into dabbing, and the KoKo Nuggs have me losing a couple of weekends and had me lag on some content. Don’t get me wrong, that is how you know it is working. If you want to cop these items, I would look for these products at an upcoming Joke’s Up affiliated pop-up.
