Iced Buffies by Jokes Up, Neros Cutt, and Frostiez
On June 19th, 2021, the Runtz Crew threw a giant party called Runtz Teenth to celebrate the grand opening of their new spot in LA. Their new place is enormous, and the Runtz crew has all kinds of fits and gear for sale. It is a mix of outdoor and indoor areas, and for private events, the outdoor spaces make it very easy to smoke and grab a seat on the couch. There was also a ton of different brands in the house representing and dropping limited releases. One of those drops is Iced Buffies, a variant of Frostiez White Buffies, which is, I believe, the first collaboration between Neros Cutt’s brand Frostiez and Jokes up.

Genetics of Iced Buffies
The genetics of these flowers are unknown and secret but based on the nose; I believe it to be a cut or cross of the strain Rainbow Sherbert.
Aroma
The aroma of Iced Buffies is a pleasant mix of sweet earthy berry notes accented by some delicate mint and tropical notes.
Appearance
In addition, I found it challenging to describe the appearance of Iced Buffies. Iced Buffies appear white because there are so many trichome crystals. Nonetheless, once you zoom in close enough, you see the flowers are a deep purple with long orange hairs and a fantastic layer of trichomes.
The Inhale and The Exhale
The inhale of Iced Buffies by Neros Cutt and Jokes Up consists of earthy floral notes, while the exhale comprises sweet fruity notes going in a much different direction.
The Smoking Experience
I have always had a great smoking experience with Frostiez Flowers. I have always found the flowers to be fresh and squishy. Not to mention, I also consistently find the flowers to burn clean.
The High
Like most Neros Cutt and Frostiez strains, the high is heavy and hits you like a mac truck. When smoking this, don’t make plans for later in the day; you won’t be doing much. I found these flowers suitable for pain relief and ideal for fighting insomnia.
So was Iced Buffies worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and yes. Frostiez has won me over, and I am a fan. Consistent quality and very exotic flowers have me coming back for more.
Where can you find Iced Buffies?
Like I mentioned in the beginning, I scored these flowers at a Jokes Up event, and to be honest, you will need to go to a pop-up to find them. Even so, don’t fret; I am seeing more and more pop-ups every weekend on both coasts with a growing list of brands and cultivators.
