Tuna Belly by Teds Budz and The Flower District
Today I am reviewing Tuna Belly by Teds Budz and The Flower District. I have reviewed and enjoyed Teds Budz in the past, this is my first time reviewing a strain by The Flower District.
Genetics
The genetics of this strain is the cross of Zkittlez and White Runtz. Furthermore, it is a great cross getting the best attributes of both parents.
Appearance
The Tuna Belly Colas are a deep green, at times almost purple, complemented with tons of orange hairs and trichome crystals. My bag had three nice size buds in it.
Aroma
The aroma really gets me, though. I am finding it to be this very inviting sweet candy nose with some sweet, musky, earthy notes deep within.
The Inhale & The Exhale
Delicious sweet candy notes dominate the inhale of Tuna Belly by Teds Budz and The Flower district. In contrast, the exhale takes a more musky, earthy, and herbal direction.
The Smoking Experience
The smoking experience of this strain is exquisite. The flowers burn clean to a perfect white ash. The inviting nose that translates so well to a flavor profile only adds to the experience.
The High
I am finding the high to be exactly what I look for. Somewhat heavy and sedative, but yet also very functional. From a medicinal perspective, this strain would be great for pain suppression or appetite stimulation.
So was Tuna Belly worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. The deeper I dig, the more I realize I am chasing terps, and this strain does not disappoint. With a fantastic nose and flavors, you would expect from a nose like that.
Where can Tuna Belly be found?
I have seen Tuna Belly at a few different shops, such as the Pottery, Cookies, as well as Dr. Greenthumbs. It is usually on the top shelf where it belongs, coming at $60 an eighth.
