Voulez Vous
Next up on the Joshwax tour is Voulez Vous. He describes the strain on his website as a combination of Gelato candy and fuel with musky, sweet sherbet and purple indica flavors.
Genetics
Voulez Vous is a proprietary strain by Joshwax. To my knowledge, they haven’t released what the genetics are. However, I believe it is a gelato cross.
Appearance
The large colas are a dark purple hue with splashes of orange highlights. The flowers are a mix of deep dark purple and light and dark greens with bunches of long orange hairs and tons of trichome crystals.
Aroma
The aroma consists of sweet floral, creamy notes with waves of muskiness. In addition, when ground up, you find enjoyable, inviting, expansive gas notes.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale consists of very smooth, very sweet, creamy notes with subtle hints of berry. In contrast, the exhale adds some earthy herbal to the sweet cream base the inhale carries over.
The Smoking Experience
All of Joshwax’s flowers are organic and grown in living soil, leading to a uniquely pristine clean-smoking experience. Not to mention, the strain has a very forward flavor profile and lack any and all chemicals.
The High
The stone is immaculately clean and a great mix of body and head high. Many believe that organic living soil cannabis can have different effects than cannabis being fed nutrients and chemicals. For example, many believe organic living soil flowers, when smoked, can work as an appetite suppressant.
So was Voulez Vous worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and Yes. I have been very impressed with Joshwax flowers. The deeper I dig, the more I find that he is updating classics, such as the epically strong landrace strain Seabiscuit and Voulez Vous, which may be Gelato crossed with Grand Daddy Purp. The bud’s appearance, nose, and flavor profile could result from a Gelato-dominant cross, but I am speculating.
