The Wake N Bake Strain
Next up is both a new strain and a new brand to me, Wake N Bake by No Daze Off. No Daze Off is a Bay Area-based brand that you can find on the shelves of your favorite big box dispensary like Cookies, Lemonade, or Dr. Greenthumb.
Genetics
The genetics of this strain are unknown; however, the graphic on the front of the mylar bags indicates it is most likely a cut of Cereal Milk, and boy does it not disappoint.
Appearance
The colas are deep dark purple, but you won’t be able to tell at first glance due to the mass amount of trichome crystals, tiny white, and short manicured orange hairs. In my bag of Wake N Bake are a mix of nice-sized buds that are of an ideal density.
Aroma
The aroma is everything I remember and love about the Cereal Milk strain. The nose is a rush of fragrances composed of the most inviting and outstanding floral, creamy strawberry notes. Combining all three scents, you arrive at a smell very similar to actual cereal milk of a sweet berry cereal identical to fruity pebbles.
The Inhale & The Exhale
Creamy berry notes complemented by a soft sweetness make up the flavor profile of the inhale. In contrast, the exhale has a more woody and earthy profile, and the smoke begins to thicken and make for a dynamic smoking experience. Again I see the inhale’s flavor profile spot on with the flavor of actual cereal milk.
The Smoking Experience
How can someone not like the smoking experience of Cereal Milk when grown the right way? No Daze Off cultivated this the right way, and it leads to a great flavor profile, matched with a dynamically changing, thicker smooth smoke that makes for quite the experience.
The High
A really clean, calming, relaxing high that has me attacking Mondays and tammy slamming my way to Fridays. I would recommend it for dealing with Mondays, coping with anxiety, or helping to relax on the weekend.
So was Wake N Bake worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. Based on my experience with strain, it shows what amazing genetic Cookies has and that when grown the right way with the right amount of care, you can get a next-level strain on your hands. I am very impressed with my first impression of No Daze Off.
