BTY Fresa (Better Than Yours Fresa Strain)
Next is up a strain and brand that is new to the blog but making a lot of waves all over the internets, BTY Fresa by Heinsenbern.
Genetics
I am not sure what the genetics of this strain but based on the nose, I would believe it be a cut or cross of Strawberry Cough. Another great indicator cultivators are beginning to gravitate back towards old school strains.
Appearance
The flowering tops are a light green hue covered in resinous trichome crystals, giving them a white-like appearance. There are random short orange hairs scattered about.
Aroma
The aroma is a pleasant mix of sweet strawberry and earthy notes. You are greeted with some delicate musk and gas notes, breaking open a bud.
The Inhale & The Exhale
You see a nice balance of musky, strawberry, gas notes in the inhale of BTY Fresa by Heisenbern. While in contrast, the exhale continues the musky gas notes and adds some earthy notes.
The Smoking Experience
I am finding the smoking experience of this strain to be delightful. The smoke is not thick but a little on the harsher side, confirming my belief this might be a Strawberry Cough cut or cross.
The High
The high also reminds me of strawberry cough as it is a space, cerebral head high. I am getting lost in my mind as I write this after smoking it.
So was BTY Fresa worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. I believe this is a great throwback, re-imagined cleaner, and more potent than before. Not to mention, this strain is like almost nothing else currently on the market.
Where can BTY Fresa by Heisenbern be found?
I believe Heisenbern is being distributed by Teds Buds while also building a relationship with Berner himself as he is a big fan of BTY Fresa. So taking that into account, you can be sure to find this strain at a Cookies location near you.
