When I saw that someone else besides Cookies was putting out a high quality Cereal Milk Strain, I had to try it. I have never had any flowers from Cannabiotix before and thought the opportunity to try their Cereal Milk was a perfect excuse.
Cannabiotix, also known as CBX, is a California and Nevada based company started by a couple of expert cultivators. Their goal was to cultivate the most elite genetics in a clean green way. It is said they have an extensive genetic catalog and I would say Cereal Milk is a good example.
There is a lot of Cookie genetics in the Cereal Milk strain as it Snowman crossed with The Y Strain. Snowman is proprietary genetics originating from GSC, while The Y is GSC crossed with Cherry Pie.
The flowering tops are a light green hue with intermittent orange hairs. The buds are engulfed in trichrome crystals which look like tiny white hairs.
I believe the Cereal Milk strain gets its name from its scent. The fragrance of the flowers are very similar to a freshly finished bowl of Fruits Loops and that of the colorful milk leftover in the bowl. A sweet creamy fruity berry wonderland of aroma that only becomes more present when breaking open the buds.
The inhale has a sweet and creamy flavor profile complemented with light berry notes and a little bit of gas notes if you look hard enough.
The creamy profile was a little different than most. I find that often the creaminess will overwhelm the profile and come across heavy. I found the creaminess in CBX’s Cereal Milk to be pleasantly thinner and more delicate making for a more balanced profile.
The exhale is a smooth sweet creamy earthy flavor profile with lingering creamy earthiness. I found the overall smoking experience to be very enjoyable as the flowers burned clean and I saw slight expansion.
The high of Cannabiotix’s Cereal Milk was chill, relaxed and very pleasurable. I recommend it for addressing stress, chilling with friends or decompressing.
So was it worth the money and would I buy it again? Yes I very much liked CBX’s Cereal Milk even more than the Cookies version as I found it burned cleaner to a #whiteash #whiteashgang. I would love to see what they could with Gary Payton……
Where can it be found? Cannabiotix’s Strains can be found all over California and Nevada and are sold at top shelf prices. I will be keeping an eye out for their strains and I recommend you do the same.
