Shittlez by Headstash

You need to be careful which strains you cross. For example if you cross Sherbert with Zkittles and then take the first letters of Sherbert and replace them with the first two letter of Zkittles, you end up with Shittlez. Something that sounds like little brown tird sh!t shaped candy.

Headstash did just that. Embraced a naming convention that lead to one of the most ridiculous weed strain names I have ever heard. Now the backpack boyz took this a different direction calling it zerbert. I enjoy the name Shittlez much more, especially being that it is a natural name for the strain to inherit.

All silly name jokes aside, it was the brand Headstash that got my attention and why I instantly added to cart. At a recent a sitdown and interview with Treehouse I got to meet the man behind the Bay Area based brand Headstash and check out his flowers. I have been very intrigued by the Headstash brand ever since.

As I alluded to in my intro, Shittlez is a cross of Sherbert and Zkittles. Diving one generation deeper, Sherbert is a cross of GSC and Pink Panties. While Zkittles is the cross of Grape Ape and Grapefruit.

The flowers are a mix deep dark purple and light green hue with bright orange hairs scattered about. The buds are covered in trichromes and definitely have the appearance of a top shelf flower.

The aroma of the two parent strains have merged well together, greeting you with a full spectrum of unique notes similar to that of a bag of skittles. The nose is a complex mix of sweet, fruity, floral, earthy and herbal aromas.

The inhale is very smooth with soft minty notes of earthiness complemented with gentle sweet berry notes. While the exhale is the perfect blend berries and tropical citrus complemented by a little bit of earthiness.

The smoking experience was very smooth and pleasant with this flavor filled flower. There was some expansion and the flowering tops burned to a clean white ash. #whiteashgang

The high is a laid back relaxing chill perfect after a long week and right now I think we are all having way too many long weeks.

So was it worth the money and would I buy it again? Yes and Yes. I was very impressed with the first flowers I have both tried and reviewed by the brand Headstash. The Shittlez were amazing and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for other strain by him.

Where can it be found? Shittlez and other stains by Headstash can be found at dispensaries in both Northern and Souther California.
