The Strain Cronuts
I am excited to try a new brand and revisit some Teds Budz flowers with my following review, Cronuts, a collab between The Smokers Club and Teds Budz. From what I understand, The Smokers Club began as both a distribution service and a New York-based social smoking event. They have grown significantly, becoming tightly interlaced with hip hop music, recently throwing a prominent hip hop event in San Bernardino, and being affiliated with the likes of very established hip hop heads like Smoke DZA.
Genetics
The genetics of this strain is unknown, but I believe it to be a rare obscure cutt. A candy dough dominant flavor profile screaming to be rebranded as a sweet dough treat that many people have not taken the time to try. I am surprised this is the first cronut-branded flowers.
Appearance
These flowers have an exotic look, with deep purple hues covered in perfectly formed resinous trichome crystals. The colas in the bag have a perfect manicure with nice-sized buds that are fluffy and not too dense.
Aroma
The aroma is a very inviting mix of sweet doughy notes complemented by delicate spice notes, very much in line with the sweet donut croissant it was inspired by. The actual cronut is a hybrid croissant/donut. Think about a croissant in the shape of a donut, deep-fried with a creamy fruit-flavored spread down the middle.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale consists of spicy doughy notes complemented by delicate spice, almost cinnamon notes. In contrast, the exhale goes in a different direction, introducing flat dough notes followed by lingering spice and wood after notes.
The Smoking Experience
The flavor-filled inhale and exhale with exceptionally clean burning flowers leads to one of the better smoking experiences on the market. I am enjoying it and believe you will too.
The High
I find the stone of these flowers to be both heavy and clean, an excellent powerful high, perfect for when you need that extra kick. These flowers would be perfect for fighting insomnia, battling anxiety, or decompressing after a tough day.
So was Cronuts worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and yes. Keeping the consistent theme, anything Teds Budz touches is fire, and this strain is no different. I am enjoying this strain a lot and how it isn’t the ever-so-popular LCG cut.

Being that Teds Budz distributes this strain, you will easily be able to find it at your local big-box cannabis retailer. However, you can also find it at more boutique spots like Emberz or Catalyst.
