The Kim Kardashian Weed Strain Crybaby Punch
Next up for review is a brand and strain making many waves, Crybaby Punch by Mamey’s Bodega. It’s not often someone makes instant iconic cannabis imagery such as Dubz Garden’s Peanut Breath or the Coochie Runtz die cut bag. Notwithstanding, I believe Mamey’s Bodega has done it with the die-cut bag of Kim Kardashian crying. Simply brilliant.
Genetics
I do not know what these specific genetics are but based on the nose, I believe it to be an LCG cutt crossed with a Sunset Sherbert Cut. Nonetheless, I might be completely mistaken.
Appearance
These flowers have an appearance that is a light shade of green, for the most part, complemented by a variety of dark greens, purples, whites, and oranges, created by the foilage, long hairs, and resinous trichome crystals.
Aroma
The nose is bright and bursting with fruit punch terps. The first scents you pick up are the familiar cherry and pineapple nose you find in the off-the-shelf fruit punch reminiscent of a fire Sunset Sherbert. However, once you dig in deep, you see more complex musky LCG notes, leading me to my guess of the genetics.
The Inhale & The Exhale
I am finding the inhale of these flowers to be a mix of sharp, musky notes complemented by gentle creamy berry notes. In contrast, you find creamy herbal notes complemented by delicate tropical notes in the exhale.
The Smoking Experience
The smoking experience is very pleasurable but very intense. I am finding lots of expansion in the thick, smooth Crybaby Punch smoke. Nonetheless, the complex, intense smoke is very different from the smoking experiences with other flowers we see on the market today.
The High
Not only is the smoking experience intense, but so is the high. These flowers pack a punch… I find the stone to be a hefty, sedated head high combined with a pretty potent body high. This stone is perfect for recovering from a hangover, celebrating a holiday, or napping.
So was Crybaby Punch worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes, and Yes. This top-shelf bag of flower is way more than outstanding marketing. It is paving the way for the LCG crosses of the future. I can’t wait to see how both Sunset Sherbert and Lemon Cherry Gelato evolve and get crossed in the future.
