Dolato 47
So, for today’s review, we head to Chicago to review Dolato 47 by Thick Budz via Logan Local. This my first time trying flowers by Thick Budz, but I have been using the service provided by Logan Local for quite a while. It is priceless to find a trustworthy, quality consistent service provider in today’s landscape of fake accounts and stolen pics.

Genetics
Dolato is the cross of Do-si-dos and Gelato 47, which is the Mochi variant. The Mochi variant, aka Gelato 47, is the cross of Thin Mint Cookies and Sunset Sherbert. In contrast, Do-si-dos is the cross of Face Off OG and Girl Scout Cookies.
Appearance
The Dolato 47 flowering tops by Thick Budz are a light green hue covered in a blanket frost of trichome crystals. There are some orange hairs, but they tend to be on the shorter side of things and more sporadic. My eighth was made up of three buds, one large one and two smaller ones.
Aroma
Usually, in crosses, you will see one cross slightly more dominant. However, the nose of Dolato 47 demonstrates a very balanced aroma. The Mochi Gelato 47 comes across sweet citrus, floral, and earthy notes balanced well by the Do-si-dos’ pine and delicate gas notes.
The Inhale and The Exhale
The Mochi Gelato dominates on the inhale, making it very delightful and complicated. I find it almost reminiscent of the Lemon Cherry Gelato inhale, which has similar parents; Girl Scout Cookies, Sunset Sherbert, and an unknown parent. I would describe the inhale as sweet berry and citrus fruit notes complimented by delicious creamy notes.
As the hit lingers, right before you exhale, gassy sour notes become very present along with an expansion that continues through the exhale. Some of the sweet berry and citrus notes are still present in the exhale, but it is dominated for the most part by the gassy sour notes.
The Smoking Experience
The Thick Budz’ Dolato 47 smoking experience was delightful. The complex flavor profile, expansion, and the really smooth inhale create the complete package.
The High
I enjoyed the high, as I found the cleared headed nice body high also to be very reminiscent of Lemon Cherry Gelato, one of my favorite strains. The high is perfect for listening to some Sunday morning jazz, going for a walk on a beautiful day, or just hanging around the house. I think it would be for pain relief, anxiety, and appetite stimulation from a medicinal perspective.
So was Dolato 47 worth the money and would I buy it again?
Yes and Yes. Thick Budz and Chicago in the house! Well done. To impress a California is no small task. Keep it up.
