On a quest for more rapper weed to review, I have made my way to the official unofficial weed of the Jabbawockeez. Face Off OG by the Cannakings.
I did a bunch of investigating and could not find any official collaboration announcement but that is somewhat expected as the jabbawockeez could lose their television commercial appeal being associated with weed.
Cannakings is the in house line of cannabis for Harbor City’s Cana Harbor. They grow a lot of note worth strains such as 3 Kings OG, Marilyn Monroe OG, Charlie Sheen OG and Face Off OG.
I have been enjoying Cana Harbor’s giant selection including Backpack Boys, Runtz, HP Farms, Sherbinskis and Alien Labs. They are worth checking out if you have not yet.
The name Face Off OG originates from the John Travolta movie but is very fitting to be associated with the mask wearing Jabbawockeez. The hybrid strain was first cultivated by Archive Seeds in the 1990s but little in known about the specific OG Kush phenotype parents.
The well manicured bud is a light green in color with many groupings of orange hairs with a fair amount of trichome crystal coverage.
Earthy herbal notes create a base for the aroma of the flowers with light citrus floral accents. However when breaking open a bud the nose is nothing but gas.
The inhale was one of my favorite flavor profiles. A musky pungent gas with very delicate earthy herbal notes that complemented the gas foundation so well you almost forgot they were there.
The pepper wood exhale that lingers was also complemented by delicate earthy herbal notes too. I found it to be a very fitting finish to the inhale.
In addition to some unique flavor profiles in both the inhale and the exhale, I enjoyed some great expansion in the inhale. What was also nice is I continued see nice expansion a few hits in.
Many say the Face Off OG high is more for a seasoned smoker. It at times can be an intense eutrophic head high that I really enjoyed while reviewing the strain. A great strain for pain relief or to disconnect.
So was it worth the money and would I buy it again? Yes the Cannakings strains go toe for toe with a lot of strains out and worth checking as well as Cana Harbor where I scored it.
