Kushberry Cheesecake by LA Kush

I feel like these days Sativas are the underdog.

This makes me sad as I love and grew up on Sativas. Smoking pounds of Sour D and Headband.

Also some of the best flowers out today are Sativas, such as Santa Cruz’s Lemon Tree, CannaCruz’s The Sauce, Clout King’s Clout Fuel, Runtz’ Buddas Hand and LA Kush’s Kushberry Cheesecake.

Interesting that Santa Cruz and a little South Of is a mecca for Sativas with 3 out of 5 on my list.

Even if Santa Cruz is a mecca for Sativas, Los Angeles’ LA Kush is giving them a run for their money with The Sativa Dominant Kushberry Cheesecake.

Kushberry Cheesecake is a cross of Aliens on Moonshine with UK Cheese.

Aliens on Moonshine is Sour Alien crossed with White Moonshine. White moonshine is the indica dominant cross of Blue Moonshine and The White.

It is important for me to break down the genetics as LA Kush has really pulled some unique flavor terpene profiles out of that lineage while maintaining a great high.

The Aroma for these flowers is intense. The odor overtook the room while shooting the video.

Usually I wait till after the shoot to try whatever I am shooting so y’all can see exactly what came in the jar…but I could not wait with the Kushberry Cheesecake.

When you open the jar you are greeted with a magnificently balanced nose of both Musty Cheese and Sweet Blueberries.

The inhale is dominated by the sweet desert like blueberry and cherry notes complemented by lighter notes of the savory musty skunky cheese.

During the exhale the creamy musty savory cheese notes take center stage complemented by the fading sweetness.

The cerebral high is clean, uplifting and very functional. I found it great for inspiring creativity while getting me to a nice headspace. I think it would be great for Anxiety, Depression, Creativity and Chronic Pain.

I picked up the Kushberry Cheesecake directly from LA Kush at their location by CSU not to be confused with the imposters in echo park. for $50 but both LA Kush’s Flowers and Concentrates can be found all over California.

So was it worth the money and would I purchased it again? Yes, I think I gave it away in the beginning putting Kushberry Cheesecake on my list of favorite Sativas. The flavor profile alone makes it worth picking up let alone the very clean high.

I recently had a friend telling me he took a break from Indicas and spent some time cuddling up with a great Sativa. I think it is great advice we all should follow.

Praise Sativas!
