The Living Soil Runtz aka The LS Runtz Strain
Next up for review is the strain Living Soil Runtz by the bay area boutique cultivator HeaTpak. HeaTpak is making big waves with their small-batch live soil-grown flower that a few lucky people are getting their hands on.
Genetics
It took me a while to realize this was a runtz cut, and I still could not believe it once I was told. I have never had a runtz cut so good. The live soil makes a significant difference in the aroma, flavor profile, and smoking experience when done the right way.
Appearance
The appearance of the flowers holds up with the best of them. The colas are a whitish tone due to the layers of perfectly formed healthy trichome crystals. However, underneath, you find foliage with a myriad of deep purple and light and dark green hues with some random short orange hairs scattered about.
Aroma
The aroma is very familiar yet very different. The strain’s scent feels more refined, distinct, and pure, almost like there is a sharp freshness to the nose. I would describe the nose as crisp, clean, delicate, airy, sweet candy herbal notes. So refined and so inviting. #sexyterps
The Inhale & The Exhale
The flavor profile is complex and constantly evolving as it lingers. The inhale begins with a gentle musk and refined sweet herbal candy notes. In contrast, the incredibly smooth exhale consists of the most deliciously creamy, delicate, earthy berry notes.
The Smoking Experience
These flowers would run laps around the old clean green certified strain. This ish burns so clean. The flavor, the burn, the white ash, I would describe it as an amazing smoking experience.
The High
The pristine clean high will have you blissfully disconnected while yet still functional to a point. I would recommend these flowers for listening to jazz on Sunday morning, soaking in a bath, or Netflix and chillin.
So was LS Runtz worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes and Yes and Yes. This live soil LS Runtz by HeaTpak is entirely next level. The total package, from the appearance to the fantastic nose, pure, clean terpy flavor profile, and so smooth smoking experience. Catch me outside smoking on that HeaTpak.
Where can you find LS Runtz by HeaTpak?
This boutique smatch batch cultivator’s flowers are easier to find in the bay than in SoCal. Regardless, I don’t believe HeaTpak is currently not sold in dispensaries, and you can only find bags of this in the streets. I would keep an eye out for a Pop-Up.
