Slime by NOBOOF
Next up for review is Slime by NOBOOF. I don’t know too much about NOBOOF LTD, other than they made their artisan cannabis available in 2021. This is my first time trying NOBOOF and the strain, Slime.
Slime by NOBOOF Genetics
According to the label on the jar, the genetics are a cross of Lemon, Lime and Rainbow Belts. However my nose is detecting Gelonade, leading me to believe this probably a Gelonade Rainbow Belts cross, which is Gelonade dominant.Â
Appearance
The flowers have an intricate, multifaceted appearance. They are covered in perfectly formed trichome crystals. With a vibrant look, the colas include every hue imaginable for cannabis flowers. A beautiful leaf structure that contains a mix of bright purples, light greys, dark and bright greens, in addition to deep orange hairs.
Aroma
The nose is very enjoyable but a little more Gelonade-leaning, where most of the sweet candy notes of the Rainbow Belts are muted. I would describe the nose as forward sour citrus lemon notes complemented by delicate pepper and sweet candy notes.
The Inhale
I am really enjoying the inhale of Slime by NOBOOF. Moreover, it explodes with citrus lemon notes–a perfect marriage of the Gelonade and citrus notes of the Z in the lineage of the Rainbow Belts. They are a mind-blowing mix of lemon notes that linger for minutes after.
The Exhale
The exhale evolves, introducing some delicate floral, spice and pepper notes to the foundational citrus palate which carries over from the inhale. As I mentioned before, the forward citrus lemon notes linger for a surprisingly long time after the exhale.
The Smoking Experience
In smoking these flowers I am able to easily see the care and attention they were given by experienced expert cultivators. The flowers have an extremely clean burn with very smooth smoke, even though there is lots of expansion. Not to mention–for those terp chasing–the flavor profile far exceeded my expectations.
The High
I made many attempts to sit down and write this review. However, this strain made it very difficult. In fact this strain put me down, leading to one of the most refreshing naps I’ve had in quite a while. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on this strain, make sure your calendar is clear when smoking it.
So was Slime by NOBOOF worth the money and would I buy it again?
Yes and Yes. These flowers tasted amazing and pack more than quite the punch. You get what you pay for. Very much worth the top dollar on the very top of the top shelf.
Where can you find Slime by NOBOOF?
These artisan small-batch flowers are rare and hard to find. I consider myself very lucky. I got mine from the Imperial Club, the boutique delivery service in Los Angeles.
