Crunch Berriez
Today, I will be reviewing Crunch Berriez by the Cannabis Icon, Oopz, who is also a member of the legendary Fundraisers Crew. In the past, I have reviewed Oopz All Berriez. This is my first time reviewing and trying the strain Crunch Berriez.
Genetics
The very popular cross of Skittlez and Gelato make up the genetics for this strain. This is the same genetics for the ever-popular Runtz strain, which we are now seeing in crosses everywhere.
Appearance
These Flowers have a Runtz like appearance but with more light green hues than deep dark purples as usual. I would describe the appearance, large fluffy buds that are a mix of light green, with a splash of purple and dark green and a few orange hairs here and there.
Aroma
Creamy floral notes dominate the nose, but deeper within, you find soft, delicate, sweet, and spice notes that complement the cream.
The Inhale & The Exhale
The inhale consists of sweet cream berry notes, while in contrast, you see more creamy, earthy notes. In between, there is a burst of spicy black licorice notes. I would consider this an excellent flavor profile for this much-cultivated cross.
The Smoking Experience
With a very inviting nose, dynamic flavor profile, and smooth smoke, Crunch Berries leads to a very enjoyable smoking experience. I have told Oopz a few times his strains deserve to be on the top shelf of Cookies.
The High
The high is clear-headed but also very heavy. I found the stone to be an incredible body high with a nice a head high that still allows you to focus. I would recommend it for sleeping in, decompressing, or destressing—something we all should do more often.
So was Crunch Berriez worth the money, and would I repurchase it?
Yes and Yes. Oopz consistently delivers on quality, and to be honest, his entire team does the same. I have been blown away by the Fundraiser menu and the quality of their flowers. The Fundraiser is a crew to watch as they are going to blow up.
Where can Crunch Berriez be found?
Crunch Berriez can be a little more challenging to find. There was just a What’s in Your Bag pop-up, which brought together the Rapper Dollas Up Nero and Oopz. A Frostiez/Fundraisers Collab. I would look for more events similar to that on IG if you want to score this strain.
