Miyagi-Do by Ball Family Farms

I have said before and I will say it again. A good budtender makes all the difference between a good and bad experience at any dispensary or pot club.

The budtender needs to be good at reading people, good at getting a lot of information from a few key questions that they then using that info to help guide the customer to hopefully the best cannabis of their life.

A good budtender will be a mix of knowledgeable, friendly, experienced and customer service oriented. On a recent trip to LA Kush, Jose was my budtender and was all of these things.

During our conversation Jose was able to see my passion for exotic flower and introduced me to a few new strains and farms. One of which is Miyagi-Do by Ball Family Farms.

Ball Family Farms is a Los Angeles based company with what appears to be a few proprietary strains which include Daniel Larusso, Bonzai and Miyagi-Do.

There is also a Karate Kid theme which got me. Daniel Larusso and Mr Miyagi are characters from the Karate Kid movie. But enough of my ranting, lets get to the review.

I believe Miyagi-Do genetics is Master Miyagi OG crossed with Do-Si-Dos. Diving deeper Master Miyagi OG is Hindu Kush crush with Skunk while the Do-Si-Dos is a cross of GSC and Face Off OG. A nice mix of old and new.

The bud is dark green in color with light purple hues and orange hairs but very hard to tell because it is literally covered in resin crystals.

The aroma of the Miyagi-Do flowers is a mix of rich floral and deep earthy scents with sweet spearmint accents.

The inhale is dominated by a foundation of spicy earthiness with light sweet notes.

The exhale takes a distinct cool floral spearmint turn with a lingering earthiness.

The high is not the ass kicking euphoric high of Face Off OG but it goes in that direction. It is a nice mix of body and head high that would be great for pain relief, anxiety or Mondays.

So was it worth the money and would I buy it again? Yes. I am very impressed with Ball Family Farms. As a lover of Do-Si-Dos and Skunk, Miyagi-Do hit the spot for me. I keep buying jars of both Ball Family Farm’s Daniel Larusso and LA Kush’s LA Cake to review but I keep smoking themπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Ball Family Farms is sold at dispensaries all over California and as I mentioned above, I got mine from LA Kush on Valley Blvd.
